Museum Overview

For centuries, the Saint-Matthieu fair has been an unmissable and renowned event in the region. This year, its theme will be Mexico.

For three days, visitors can discover one of the most beautiful poultry and rabbit exhibitions in the region, as well as an equine and cattle exhibition.

Over time, the fair was enriched with a village of artisans, and another of associations, with demonstrations of know-how. The peddlers occupy the streets of the city center which becomes pedestrian only for 3 days. Local merchants take the opportunity to exhibit or sell off in front of their stores, and dealers come to display cars there.

A whole program of festivities is organized with street artists, or acts on the podium. A festive air circulates in the city throughout the fair.

It is also an opportunity for thrill-seekers to enjoy one of the largest funfairs in the department.

And for everyone to enjoy a fireworks display on Friday evening at 22pm at Parc de la Vesgre.

For your information, the funfair will begin on September 25 at the Parc du Cygne and the rest of the entertainment on September 26 in the heart of the city.

Program: ecological transition village, trade fair, flea market, funfair, street artists, artisans' village, fireworks.
