European Heritage Days - Guided tour of the castle and castle mound of Richebourg

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, come and discover on September 19 and 20 from 14:30 p.m. to 18 p.m., the exterior of the Château de Richebourg and its castle mound, through a guided tour.

Private castle belonging to the Mallet Foundation (psychomotor rehabilitation center). The castle is in the Louis XII style, late Gothic and early Renaissance with dovecote and fortifications. Traces of a feudal mound are visible in the park.

This guided tour will allow you to discover the exterior of Richebourg Castle, a private property belonging to the Mallet Foundation, as well as the traces of its feudal motte still visible in the park.

Built in the Louis XII style, a blend of late Gothic and early Renaissance elements, the castle notably retains a dovecote and fortification features. The tour will trace the site's history from antiquity to the present day, highlighting its role in the village's founding, the evolution of its architecture, and the feudal castle's place in the local landscape.
