Museum Overview

The Houdanais Country Tourist Office invites you to discover the work of Isabelle Baron, an artist with multiple influences, in its premises from September 02nd to 29th, 2026.

A graduate in ceramic decoration and sign painting, the artist began her career in Limoges, where she created designs for major porcelain manufacturers. From this experience, she retained a mastery and precision of technique that still characterize her artistic practice today. Over time, she expanded her range of expression to include charcoal, watercolor, and then oil painting, gradually moving away from meticulous detail to allow for greater suggestiveness and emotion in her work. Her artistic journey has also been enriched by eight years spent in Asia, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Thailand.

These journeys, experienced in contact with people and magnificent landscapes, profoundly enriched his perspective, his open-mindedness, and his creative imagination.

Curious about life, encounters and techniques, the artist presents at the Tourist Office of the Pays Houdanais an excerpt of her recent works, mainly oils, testifying to a sensitive, open and deeply inspired journey by the world.

Free entry from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 15pm to 18pm. Then on Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 14pm to 18pm.
