Alain FERRAND's exhibition: Is art political?

From November 5 to 28, the Pays Houdanais Tourist Office invites you to discover the exhibition "Is art also political?" by Alain Ferrand in its premises.

Through this exhibition, the artist immerses us in a reflection on the role of art in the face of the powers and images that shape our opinions. His works, created in reaction to significant events, translate in turn emotions, questions and impulses of the human spirit: love, joy, anger or even desire.

For Alain Ferrand, painting is first and foremost a means of free expression: a search between aesthetics and consciousness, where each canvas becomes a space for dialogue between the artist and the viewer.

Although he humbly defines himself as an amateur, the artist invites everyone to go beyond mere technical observation and embrace emotion and reflection. An accompanying booklet will be available to the public to extend this exploration and open up discussion on the role of art in our societies.

An exhibition that is both sensitive and committed, questioning our view of the world and the power of images.

An opening reception is planned for Saturday, November 8th from 15pm to 17pm.
