Local hiking in Neauphlette and Longnes!

The Houdanais Country Tourist Office invites you to meet the Moulin de Launay and the Ferme Lecoq during its local produce hike in Neauphlette and Longnes , on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

On the program: a circuit of approximately 8 km accessible to all, punctuated by three stops, a first at the family cereal farm of Moulin de Launay, a second in the fields of Longnes to discover the Houdan Chicken, then a last at the Lecoq Farm, known for its breeding of Houdan Chicken, where a foretaste of Houdan Chicken rillettes will be offered to participants to awaken the taste buds.

The Moulin de Launay farm, established for six generations in Neauphlette, grows wheat, lentils, soybeans, einkorn wheat, corn and buckwheat, which it transforms itself into artisanal flours, pasta and oils, in its workshop set up in the heart of the farm.

The Lecoq Farm, for its part, has been located in Longnes since the 16th century. Over 400 years, it has housed numerous animals, including cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, and horses. Now, for two generations, it has raised chickens, guinea fowl, rabbits, ducks, and laying hens, and cultivates 35 hectares of wheat, corn, barley, and broad beans, which are used to feed the animals.

We will meet you at the Jardins Fabian parking lot (2 Rue Fabian) at 8:30 am, for a hike starting at 8:45 am.

Participation costs €10 per adult , €5 for young people aged 11 to 17 and is free for children aged 10 and under.

Registration is mandatory via the HelloAsso online ticketing service or directly at the Pays Houdanais Tourist Office, until Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Please note that the hike may be cancelled if there are insufficient participants and that cancellations made less than 15 days before the event will not be refundable.

Warning: the route includes some uphill sections.

Animals are welcome on a leash and under the responsibility of their owners, but will not be allowed in enclosed areas. The route is not suitable for strollers.
