The Communauté de Communes du Pays Houdanais (CCPH) has decided to institute a real tourist tax which has come into force throughout its territory since January 1, 2017. The revenue generated by this tax allows you to participate to finance tourism promotion and development actions.

Thus, people not residing in the territory of the Communauté de Communes du Pays Houdanais but staying there temporarily and for payment must pay this tax.

The tax is collected every year from April 1 to October 31 inclusive. It is collected by accommodation providers from their customers and then donated to the community.

Prices

Are exempt:
– Minors,
– Persons holding a seasonal employment contract employed in the territory,
– People benefiting from emergency accommodation or temporary rehousing,
– People who occupy premises whose rent is less than €1 per day.

The rate is applied per person and per night depending on the type of accommodation and its standard. For CCPH accommodation located in Eure-et-Loir, an additional departmental tax of 10% applies. For CCPH accommodation located in Yvelines, an additional regional tax of 15% for the financing of Greater Paris, as well as an additional tax of 200% for the benefit of Ile de France Mobilités must be collected.

In addition, for accommodation located outside the CCPH, a tourist tax may also apply. Contact the owner of the accommodation concerned for further details.

You are an accommodation professional and you carry out your activity in the Pays Houdanais. You must collect the tourist tax from April 1 to October 31 each year.
